Poseidon |
|
If you
haven't been diving with us in a while, we have a new boat named Poseidon. She
is a 36ft Crusader. She may be the new boat, but she's definitely the "big
sister" to Neptune. Poseidon has the same easy entry and exit as Neptune but has
more room to move around. She has a covered seating area, fly deck, and
larger area for storage of photo and video equipment. We are now able
to run out to the North wall on a daily basis throughout the summer months as
well as trips to Sting Ray City in the
afternoon.

Dive Site |

Grand
Cayman has a great new dive site! The Government has recently installed a new
moored reef dive site in March called Queen's Reef and we are enjoying exploring
this new site off the West Side. Dense coral fingers with loads of "nooks and
crannies" to find critters in. Green Moray Eels find these hiding places perfect
for their home along with Nurse Sharks, lobsters and crabs. Tons of fish life
and, of course! turtles. And we see many Southern Sting Rays feeding on shell
fish in the sandy areas. The sandy area between the coral fingers are also home
to many Yellow Head Jawfish with many of the males carrying eggs in their
mouths. They males incubate the eggs in their mouths... and this is Spring so
time for babies. So be sure to come check out our newest dive
site!
